Fuel surcharge as of February 1st 2010

Due to increased fuel prices in 2010, it has been necessary for Air Greenland to change the “FUEL SURCHARGE” to DKK 4,50 per kilo actual weight for all air freight shipments on transatlantic routes. The amount should be entered in the column “other charges due carrier” (code MYC).

Due to increased fuel prices in Greenland, a “FUEL SURCHARGE” of DKK 1,60 per kilo actual weight has been introduced on air freight shipments in Greenland. The amount should be entered in the column “other charges due carrier” (code MZC).

Regions covered by service contracts between Air Greenland and the Greenland Home Rule are exempt of the fuel surcharge:

North Greenland:
JUV-NAQ vv,
UMD-JQA vv

Disko Bay Region:
JAV-JCH-JGO-JEG vv

South Greenland:
UAK-JNS-JJU-LLU-JNN vv
UAK-JFR vv

Central Greenland:
GOH-JFR vv

East Greenland:
KUS-AGM vv.

Examples of Fuel Surcharge calculations:

CPH-SFJ/UAK: MYC DKK 4,50 per kilo
CPH-GOH: MYC DKK 4,50 per kilo MZC DKK1,60 per kilo.
GOH-JAV: MZC DKK 1,60 per kilo.
CPH-JNN: MYC DKK 4,50 per kilo.
JAV-JGO: no fuel surcharge.

FUEL SURCHARGE pr. 26.  November 2007

Due to increased fuel prices, Air Greenland has decided to change the "FUEL SURCHARGE" to DKK 5.95 per kilo actual weight as of October 26th, 2007 for all air freight shipments to and from Denmark.

The amount should be entered in the column “other charges due carrier” (code MYC).

Until further notice, there is no change to the Fuel Surcharge on domestic air freight shipments in Greenland.
