Air Greenland welcomes you to Copenhagen (CPH)
Arrival in Copenhagen:
When you leave the aircraft, follow the signs showing the way to “Baggage Claim” and have your passport or other ID ready. When you arrive in the luggage hall, look at the screens to find the conveyor where your luggage will be delivered.
When you have retrieved your luggage go through the “Exit” and customs (Told). Chose the exit marked with green, as Greenland is considered to be an EU country. If you have more than you are allowed, or if you are in doubt, chose the red exit.
Once you are through customs, continue straight on if you are travelling with train/metro, or turn right by the signs if you want a taxi.
Departure from Copenhagen
Check-in for Air Greenland flights takes place in Terminal 2. Remember to mention Terminal 2, if you come by taxi. In terminal 2 you will find our service desks and our Danish offices and we are, of course, ready to assist you if you require help. We recommend that you come to the airport two hours before departure. You must have completed check-in at least one hour before departure. Remember to have your passport or other ID ready. After check-in you must go through security and here is some good advice:
Have your boarding card and ID out and ready
All metal objects must either be in your bag or jacket which is run through the scanner in small baskets: Wallet/purse, lighter cigarettes, belt, hair slides, larger jewellery mobile phones etc.
If you bring a lap-top, have it out and ready to power up if required
Water and soda water bottles are not permitted
There is time to do some shopping now, but please be at the gate on time. There are no boarding calls at the airport in Copenhagen, so keep a careful watch on the screens that can be found throughout the building.
