You can of course bring other luggage than suitcases or bags, but some restrictions apply
Baby carriages/strollers can be included as part of your baggage allowance. Please ensure secure packaging.
A wheelchair upon which the passenger is dependent, is carried free of charge and must be checked-in with the baggage. The wheelchair must be packaged so that is does not get damaged or cause damage to other baggage. Air Greenland disclaims any liability for damage to a wheelchair, which has not been correctly packaged. Whilst the wheelchair is packaged, a wheelchair may be borrowed at the airport. Please give us plenty of advanced notice if you are a wheelchair user, so we can be ready to assist you.
Bicycles cannot be included in the baggage allowance, but must be checked-in as excess baggage. However, we cannot guarantee, that the bicycle will be carried on your flight, as cargo space is limited. Please notify us in advance if you want to bring a bicycle. The handlebars must be turned parallel to the frame to avoid damage to other baggage. For the same reason, the pedals must be removed.
Skiing equipment, consisting of one set of skis, one pair of sticks and one pair of ski boots can be included in the baggage allowance. You must provide adequate packaging.
Backpacks must be placed in a sturdy plastic or fabric bag because lose straps etc. can cause problems on the luggage transport systems.
