If you feel unwell at any time during the flight, please do not hesitate to contact our personnel. Here are a couple of tips to make your flight more comfortable: drink plenty of fluids (water or juice), wear loose clothing that does not constrict your abdomen or throat and make a habit of doing small tense, stretch and bend exercises with your arms and legs during the flight – preferably for about five minutes every hour. If possible, leave your seat and take a little walk up and down the aisle. But please show consideration to the other passengers and the cabin crew.
Jetlag:
Jetlag is a physical phenomenon that occurs when you travel through several time zones. The time on your watch shows local time, but your body reacts with the time you had when you left. This can lead to sleeping problems, headache, stomach upsets and unexpected fatigue. Most people experience the worst jetlag when they travel from west to east, e.g. from Greenland to Denmark. When you travel eastwards you lose hours and bedtime comes earlier than usual, which often results in problems falling asleep.
Here are a couple of simple tips:
Sleep as much as possible during the flight. Follow the circadian rhythm at your destination from the time you arrive. Hold out as long as possible. Drink plenty of fluids.
