Your journey begins with a flight from Nuuk to Ilulissat – the City of Icebergs. Even during your approach, you’ll get a preview of what awaits: icebergs in every shape and size drifting majestically in Disko Bay. Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to the comfortable Hotel Arctic, where you can enjoy the view and settle in.
In the afternoon, you can join a guided city tour to learn about Ilulissat’s history, culture, and daily life. Alternatively, you can visit the Greenlandic sled dogs and hear about their importance in Arctic life – a genuine experience where you get close to the animals.
