Summer timetable in action
Today, 17 March, we can report that our first direct morning departure from Nuuk to Copenhagen took off this morning, marking the transition to Air Greenland's new summer timetable which runs until the end of October 2025.
For the first time in Air Greenland's 64-year history, we can offer morning and afternoon departures on the route between Nuuk and Copenhagen and on the route between Kangerlussuaq and Copenhagen with onward connections to and from Nuuk.
These flights are operated by Jettime's Boeing 737-800 aircraft with seating for 180/189 passengers.
Every Monday and Friday we offer a morning departure from Nuuk at 07:30 directly to Copenhagen with arrival at 15:00.
Every Friday we offer a late afternoon departure from Copenhagen direct to Nuuk at 15:50 with arrival at 17:40.
Every Sunday we offer evening departures from Copenhagen direct to Nuuk at 18:00 with arrival at 20:00

Intermediate landings in Kangerlussuaq
In collaboration with Albatros Arctic Circle, we offer morning departures on Tuesdays from Nuuk at 07.30 with a stopover in Kangerlussuaq at 08.10 and onwards at 08.50 with landing in Copenhagen at 16.25. These departures provide good opportunities for connecting flights to the rest of Europe and Asia from Greenland.
On Mondays and Thursdays we fly at 15:50 from Copenhagen and land in Kangerlussuaq at 17:40, after which the flight continues to Nuuk and lands at 18:50. These flights offer great opportunities for same-day connections to Greenland from Europe and Asia.
Every Friday we also offer an evening-night flight from Nuuk at 18:30 with a stopover in Kangerlussuaq at 19:10. From here we fly on at 19:50 and arrive in Copenhagen in the middle of the night at 03:20.

Our own A330neo, Tuukkaq, flies between Copenhagen and Nuuk as usual and provides good same-day connections to and from our domestic destinations in North, Central, South and East Greenland.
