With the Ilik product, Air Greenland and Greenland Travel make it easier for more people to participate in activities that strengthen communities and foster mutual understanding—whether in sports, culture, study trips, or events with a societal or environmental focus.

Ilik is primarily aimed at civil society actors such as NGOs, volunteer organizations, and associations that both facilitate activities and fully or partially finance travel costs through volunteer efforts. Civil society actors play a vital role in society by promoting citizens’ interests and engagement.

By offering Ilik across Air Greenland’s route network (excluding interline routes), discounts of up to 75% off the standard ticket price (excluding airport fees) can be provided if there are available seats on selected departures at the time of booking.

This means significant savings for those who plan their activities well in advance.

With the Ilik product, Air Greenland and Greenland Travel take on a societal responsibility for the benefit of the community by offering discounts on activities that bring people together.

However, Ilik does not just benefit those who purchase tickets. The more passengers onboard a flight, the better the revenue base, which can help reduce operating costs, ultimately benefiting overall ticket prices or increasing payouts to society. Traveling on an Ilik ticket also maximizes aircraft capacity, which reduces the CO₂ footprint per passenger per kilometer by distributing emissions across more travelers.

Ilik Association Travel is divided into three main categories: Ilik Sport, Ilik Education, and Ilik Culture.

Fill out the form to check availability for an Ilik Association Travel booking. Once you have completed the form, it will be sent directly to our group travel coordinator at Greenland Travel, who will contact you shortly.

Please note that Ilik Association Travel is only available on Air Greenland’s own route network. The travel period is year-round, and we recommend booking well in advance. The earlier you book, the greater the chance of available seats. Once your request has been submitted, you will receive a response within three business days.

• The names of all travelers must be submitted no later than 14 days before departure in the winter period: January 1 – June 14 & August 16 – December 31.
• The names of all travelers must be submitted no later than 30 days before departure in the summer period: June 15 – August 15.
• Name changes can be made up to one week before departure for a fee of DKK 900 per traveler.
